Russian Hydropower: Develop or Stop?

From 2010 to 2025, Russia has commissioned about 7 GW of new hydroelectric and pumped storage power plant capacity, corresponding to an increase of approximately 19%. By this indicator, the country holds a leading position, confirming the sustainable development of hydropower as a key segment of renewable energy.
