Capital Expenditures on Data Centers in Russia to Plunge by a Third

Capital expenditures on new data centers in Russia in 2026 will fall by 30% to 515 billion rubles (~$6.73 billion) compared to 2025. Total data center costs, including capacity replacement, will decline by 10% to 1.26 trillion rubles (~$16.48 billion), with 59% going to replaced IT capacity.
