Longyan City's "Mining+" industrial output above designated size reached 189.45 billion yuan (approximately $24.87 billion) in 2025. Its 15th Five-Year Plan explicitly proposes accelerating the construction of a mineral resource industry chain encompassing "exploration and mining—smelting and processing—new material and new energy R&D and application—cross-industry integration," while promoting the intelligent and green upgrade of mining equipment.
