Maxim Zagornov: "Distributed energy has become a sustainable market trend"

In 2025, Russia commissioned 1.77–2.31 GW of new distributed generation capacity, and the segment's total installed capacity reached 38–39 GW by the start of 2026. Expert Maxim Zagornov noted that current legislation is focused on a centralized model, which creates barriers to the development of distributed energy. To stimulate the sector, it is proposed to reduce the time for technological connection to 8–12 months.
