IT Workers and AI Developers Exempt from Taxes for 5 Years

The President of the Russian Federation has signed a decree "On Measures to Improve the Taxation System," exempting IT workers, AI and application developers from paying taxes for 5 years. This category is granted preferential income tax rates of 5% and insurance premium rates of 12%. The measure is aimed at stimulating the development of the IT sector and retaining personnel amid competition for specialists.
