Number of IT vacancies in Russia sharply declines, and salaries almost stop growing

In the first half of 2026, the number of vacancies in Russia's IT sector fell by 50% compared to the same period last year. According to SuperJob, the number of job offers in the IT sector decreased by 21% year-on-year, while the number of resumes increased by 21%. Salary growth in the industry has nearly halted, indicating a saturation of the labor market and a decline in demand for IT specialists.
