Australia to Supply Uranium to India, Key Agreement for 100 GW Nuclear Target Between the Two Countries

On Thursday in Melbourne, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese signed a uranium agreement that had been pending for 10 years. Under this, Australia will commercially supply uranium to India for its peaceful civilian nuclear program. This agreement will help India achieve its target of 100 gigawatts of nuclear energy capacity by 2047, ensuring a stable and reliable supply of uranium.
