MMMUT to Establish Next Generation Semiconductor and Nano Devices Center

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) in Gorakhpur, India, is establishing a Centre of Excellence for Next Generation Semiconductor and Nano Devices. The project, approved by the board under the India Semiconductor Mission, has been assigned to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering with a budget of ₹3.99 crore (approximately $515,000 USD). The center aims to provide training to students in nanoscale devices and AI chips, representing a direct investment in hardware-focused semiconductor and nanotechnology education and skill development within India's IT sector.
