A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) has been launched at the Khar Khoda plant in Sonipat, which will store excess solar energy generated on holidays or during periods of low demand and later contribute it to the grid. This system is a significant step toward efficient use of solar energy and promoting grid stability.
