China Issues 15th Five-Year Plan for New Energy System, Sets 2030 Target for Over 50% Renewable Energy Share

China has recently issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for Building a New Energy System," setting a 2030 target: to preliminarily establish a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient new energy system, with both the installed capacity of new energy and the share of non-fossil energy in power generation exceeding 50%.
