China Telecom Showcases Major Uplink Breakthrough, Empowering New AI and Wireless Network Ecosystem

On March 4, 2026, during MWC26 in Barcelona, China Telecom and Huawei jointly demonstrated their latest achievements in wireless high-uplink technology. The showcase featured cutting-edge innovations such as Super Uplink, flexible frame structure, and carrier aggregation. Following the event, the two partners held a 5G-A×AI High-Uplink Technology Innovation Launch in Hefei, Anhui Province. The launch featured live demonstrations of applications including robot-guided tours, intelligent follow-and-shoot live streaming, and AI glasses for translation. This technology aims to address the traditional network challenges of weak uplink coverage and unstable speeds, promoting the deep integration of 5G-Advanced and AI.
