India and Canada have signed a 10-year uranium supply agreement valued at approximately $1.9 billion (around ₹175 billion), covering 10,000 tonnes of uranium. Canadian firm Cameco will supply the uranium to India's nuclear energy reactors from 2027 through 2035. This long-term pact secures a crucial fuel source for India's nuclear power sector and marks a significant international trade transaction within the mining and energy industries.
