PM Modi Australia Visit: India Achieves Major Energy Breakthrough, Signs Uranium Supply Agreement

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Australia, India and Australia have signed a uranium supply agreement. Under this agreement, uranium will be imported from Australia, which will be used only for peaceful purposes, i.e., electricity generation. Its monitoring will be done by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This agreement is an important step towards strengthening India's nuclear energy sector and enhancing energy security.
