Surgutneftegas Completes Drilling of Well at 3,500-Meter Depth

Russian oil and gas company Surgutneftegas has successfully completed drilling a deep well at a field in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. The well depth is 3,500 meters. The company is preparing to commission the facility for industrial operation, which is planned for the current quarter. This event is directly related to the extraction of fossil fuels (oil and/or gas) and represents an operational achievement aimed at maintaining or increasing the company's production capacity in a key Russian oil-producing region.
