Hunan Gold Plans 4.334 Billion Yuan Acquisition of Huangjin Tianyue and Zhongnan Smelting
Hunan Gold (002155) disclosed a draft on the evening of July 8, proposing to acquire 100% equity of Hunan Gold Tianyue Mining and Zhongnan Smelting for 4.334 billion yuan (approximately $56.9 million), further controlling the Wanggu Gold Mine in Pingjiang, Hunan. The transaction includes issuing shares to purchase assets and raising supporting funds of no more than 1 billion yuan (approximately $13.1 million). Asset valuation shows that the equity price of Huangjin Tianyue is about 3.502 billion yuan (approximately $46.0 million), and Zhongnan Smelting is about 832 million yuan (approximately $10.9 million). This move aims to integrate upstream resources of the gold industry chain, enhancing the company's gold resource reserves and smelting capacity.
